Free Shingle Color Samples

A word on the colors below: these are photographs of the real shingle, so you can see the granule blend rather than a single flat color. Even so, a shingle shifts with the light and no two monitors agree, so use these to narrow it down — then judge the actual samples against your house, in daylight.

And on the specifications: these come from each manufacturer's published data. Nearly every warranty figure depends on the roof being installed to that manufacturer's requirements — the wind numbers especially. We have noted the conditions where they apply. Check the current warranty document before you rely on any of it.

Samples shown are GAF Timberline HDZ, the range we fit most. Materials are bought through ABC Supply, so the rest of the asphalt market is open to us too — Owens Corning, CertainTeed, IKO, Malarkey, Atlas and TAMKO — along with concrete and clay tile, natural slate, cedar shakes, metal and synthetic slate and shake. Branch stock varies by market, so if you have a color or product in mind that is not on this page, ask and we will confirm availability and get you a sample.

And on warranty tiers: Warranty tiers above the base level depend on the contractor holding the manufacturer's certification, and on specific accessories being used. Ask any roofer which tier they can actually register for you — the answer is not the same for every company.

Included automatically. Lifetime cover for manufacturing defects, but only the first 10 years are non-prorated — after that the payout is reduced for the age of the roof. No workmanship cover at all.
